Magnolia Café

Magnolia Cafe is a late-game area in Pokémon Unbound found in Magnolia Town. It’s reachable just before the final gym.

You can initiate various events in this area depending on the time and the day when you visit. Below is everything you can do with all the various NPCs that can appear at the Magnolia Café.

Inside of Magnolia Cafe

As soon as you reach Magnolia Town you can enter the Magnolia Cafe to see three NPCs standing behind the counter.

1. The NPC on the left sells items like a Pokémon Mart
2. The middle NPC gives free Ethers
3. The final NPC can blend berries to increase a Pokémon’s IV stats and/or friendship stat depending on the selected berries

Mart

The Magnolia Cafe Mart sells the same things you would expect to find at a regular Pokémon Mart and with the same prices.

Berry Blender

Players can speak with the Berry Blender NPC to blend the berries they have in their inventory into a juice. Making a Pokémon drink the berry juice changes their IVs and/or friendship level depending on which berries were used in the process.

Outside of Magnolia Cafe

The main Magnolia Café area is where you can find some benches west of the cafe.

Initially, the town will be trapped in an eternal rain. However, going east from the town to Magnolia Fields and defeating Tornadus and Thundurus will cause the rain to stop. After that, you can return to the main Magnolia Cafe outdoor area to find different NPCs.

The NPCs that sit outside of the Magnolia Cafe change depending on the time and day on your device. While these NPCs are usually fodder who challenge you to a battle in the main game, becoming the Pokémon League champion prompts known NPCs like Red and Cynthia to appear here in the post-game.

Magnolia Cafe Egg Lady

The Magnolia Cafe Egg Lady is the Day Care man’s sister. This NPC appears outside of the Magnolia Town Cafe every day at the following times:

Speaking with the Egg Lady each day that she appears will reward you with a free egg as long as you have space in your party. Speaking with her again after acquiring an egg on any given day will allow you to purchase further eggs for 50,000 Poke Dollars.

All Magnolia Cafe Trades

Trainer Red and all of the region’s Gym Leaders will appear outside of Magnolia Cafe on certain days. Speaking with them will initiate certain trades.

While every gym leader offers to trade one of three shiny Pokemon, Red opts to trade his Pikachu, though the hat the Pikachu is wearing differs depending on which Pokemon he asks for.
