The easiest way to acquire a Dawn Stone in Pokemon Unbound is through an overworld item in Frozen Heights. You can do this as soon as you obtain HM06 Rock Smash.
Alternatively, Dawn Stones can be obtained from several other locations such as Route 7, Route 14, and Raid Dens.
Once-only Methods
Location #1 – Frozen Heights
Start at your residence in Frozen Heights:
Step 1: Head to the western end of the town till you reach the area with the ice puzzle.
Step 2: From the first tile, slide in the northern direction.
Step 3: Slide over the ice in the western direction.
Step 4: Use Rock Smash to break the rock to your south and slide in this direction.
Step 5: The Dawn Stone is inside the PokeBall at the end of this path.
Location #2 – Route 7
Start by flying to Frost Mountain (Route 7) and follow these steps:
Step 1: Head to the far-south of the area till you cross the bridge here.
Step 2: Continue over the bridge till you reach the other side guarded by a trainer.
Step 3: Use the stairs here and traverse through the small mountain path till you reach the other end. A trainer blocks this area.
Step 4: Once you reach the other side, hop over the ledge at your immediate left and follow this path till you reach the grass at its end.
Step 5: The path here splits into two areas.
Walk over to the northern side which is fenced off.
Step 6: The Dawn Stone is hidden inside the rock here.
Location #3 – Route 10
Start at Fallshore City’s PokeCenter and follow these steps:
Step 1: Head to the northwestern end of the city and use the staircase here to reach Route 10.
Step 2: Cross the bridge in front of you which connects Fallshore City and Tehl Town.
Step 3: Climb down the stairs at the end of the bridge, Surf in the water here, and head to the piece of land to the west.
Step 4: From the two paths here, take the one to your south till you reach its end.
Step 5: Surf in the water here and move to your far-left till you arrive at a small island.
Step 6: The Dawn Stone is inside the poke ball on the ground here.
Location #4 – Route 14
Start by flying to Ruins of the Void (Route 14) and follow these steps:
Step 1: Surf in the water in front of you and head towards the bottom until you reach the small piece of land with the wooden sign.
Step 2: Head further south until you arrive at the small opening underneath a bridge.
Step 3: Surf through this opening and keep moving south.
You’ll eventually be stopped by large boulders emerging from the water.
Step 4: The path splits into two here.
Move towards the west where there’s a trainer swimming around.
Step 5: Hop back onto the piece of land hosting a staircase towards the north, next to the swimming trainer.
Step 6: Head to the east end of this area and climb the first set of stairs. A trainer roams in the grass here.
Step 7: Use the stairs on your right and go across the bridge that they lead to.
Step 8: The Dawn Stone is inside the PokeBall here.
