The easiest way of acquiring a King’s Rock in Pokemon Unbound is getting the one on the ground in the eastern side of Cootes Bog. This can be accessed as soon as you reach Polder Town.

Alternatively, you can obtain the item as a rare drop from Dunsparce in the Valley Cave Raid Den. Or a King’s Rock may also be held by any wild Politoed, Poliwhirl, and Hariyama (5% chance each) that you catch.

Once-only Methods

Location # 1 – Cootes Bog

Start at Polder Town’s PokeCenter:

Step 1: Head to the northeastern side of the town to find and enter Cootes Bog.

The path splits into two near the entrance with the trainer.

Step 2: Continue on the path leading to the left until you arrive at a sign where the path splits into two again.

Step 3: This time, take the path to your right.

A trainer runs around in the grass here – move past them and follow this path to its end.

Step 4: Use Surf in the pond here and head eastward to reach the other side.

Step 5: Walk to the bottom of this area and continue on this path till you reach a divergence with a trainer running around.

Step 6: From here, take the path heading to the east and follow it to its end.

Step 7: Surf in the stream of water and head to the northwest.

Step 8: The King’s Rock is inside the poke ball on the small piece of land on your left.
