The easiest way of acquiring a Shiny Stone is as an item on the ground near the entrance of Dresco Town.
Alternatively, Shiny Stones can be obtained from several other locations such as Route 7, Frost Mountain, and Vivill Warehouse among others. They can also be acquired as drops from any Roselia or Roserade at Route 4’s Raid Den.
Once-only Methods
Location # 1 – Route 7
Start by flying to Route 7 (Frost Mountain):
Step 1: Head to the southern end of the route, moving past the trainer and across the first bridge here.

Step 2: Walk past the stairs and move to the area under the bridge.

Step 3: The Shiny Stone is hidden in the rock in the corner, behind the two breakable ones.

Location # 2 – Frost Mountain
Start by flying to Frost Mountain (Route 7):
Step 1: Enter Frost Mountain and head straight up until you reach the trainer with blue hair guarding the path.

Step 2: Use Rock Climb on the plateau right next to this trainer. Then use the ladder here to go up to 2F.

Step 3: Continue on this straight path till you’re confronted by a trainer blocking your path.

Step 4: Take a few more steps without diverting from this path.
There is another trainer here who will challenge you.

Step 5: Head up the two sets of stairs next to this trainer until you arrive at a puzzle area with movable boulders.

Step 6: Push the first boulder once to free up the boulder at the bottom.

Step 7: Push the bottom boulder downwards and slide down the ledge here.

Step 8: Go around the area and use the stairs here to reach the two boulders on the other side. Push both of these away to clear up the area.

Step 9: Use the stairs directly in front of you and head across the bridge.

Step 10: Continue on this path to its end, going across the stairs following the bridge.

Step 11: The Shiny Stone is on the ground at the end of this path.

Location # 3 – Vivill Warehouse
Start at Vivill Town’s PokeCenter:
Step 1: Head to the northern end of town and enter the Vivill Warehouse building located here.

Step 2: Once inside, use the stairs to head down to B1F.

Step 3: Go to the other end of the room and use the stairs here to head down to B1F.

Step 4: Use Surf in the water and hop on to the small piece of land in the southwestern corner of the room.

Step 5: Use Strength to push away the boulder here and go over the teleporting tile.

Step 6: The Shiny Stone is in the northwestern corner of the room.

Location # 4 – Route 17
Start at Seaport City’s PokeCenter:
Step 1: Move to the western end of the city and go across the first path of grass.

Step 2: Walk down the stairs leading to the shore and use Surf in the water here.

Step 3: From the two paths, surf in the western direction and follow this path to its end.

Step 4: The Shiny Stone is on the small piece of land here.

Location # 5 – Crystal Peak
Start by flying to Crystal Peak:
Step 1: Enter the cave and use the ladder in the northeastern corner of the room to head down to B1F.

Step 2: Surf in the small pool of water in this room till it diverts into two paths.
From here, head to the area towards the north.

Step 3: Interact with the yellow sigil in the top-right corner.

Step 4: Head back to the water and surf to the eastern side of the room. Use the ladder here to go up to 1F.

Step 5: Use Rock Climb on the hill in front of you to reach the lower area.
Then move towards the path heading to the western side of the cave till you reach a trainer patrolling the area.

Step 6: Move past the trainer and take a few more steps to the south till you reach a blue tomb.

Step 7: Interact with this and slide the crystal on it.
Similar to before, a blue colored crystal will appear on the stone after doing so.

Step 8: Head south from the large crystals and follow this path until it splits into three.

Step 9: Continue on the path leading to the south and follow this to its end.

Step 10: The Shiny Stone is inside the PokeBall here.

Location # 6 – Route 2
Start at Dresco Town’s PokeCenter:
Step 1: Take a few steps west towards the town’s gym.

Step 2: From the gym, follow the path south and continue on this to its end.

Step 3: Surf in the water here and move towards the eastern side.
You’ll be blocked off by large rocks emerging from the water.

Step 4: From here, surf to the north and pass under the bridge with a wooden sign on it.

Step 5: Surf through the narrow stream of water towards the northeast to reach Route 2.

Step 6: Go to the eastern side of the area until you reach the small piece of land in the water, next to the overhead bridge.

Step 7: Follow the path under the bridge and look for an item on your left.

Step 8: The Shiny Stone is inside the PokeBall on the small bit of land between these bridges.
