The Baby Monitor is a convenient way to see the progress of all Pokemon left at the Route 5 Day Care. It’s obtained as a reward for completing Mission #023: Flaming Body.
In addition to your Pokémon’s current level, you can also see whether you can claim any eggs by checking the device – if you can, then you’d just go back to the Day Care and speak to the old man outside.
Location
Fly to the Seaport City Pokemon Center and go south.
Take the first turn east and enter the second building.
Approach the NPC in the southeast corner of the building with the side mission icon on his head.
This NPC gives Mission #023: Flaming Body, and completing it rewards you with the Baby Monitor.
Function
After getting the Baby Monitor and giving any Pokémon to the Pokémon Day Care lady on Route 5, just use the Baby Monitor from the key items section of the Cube.
The Baby Monitor then gives information like the current level of all stored Pokemon and how many eggs you can pick up from the Pokemon Day Care.
