The Jade Orb key item is given to you as a reward for completing Mission #014: Blazing Emeralds, which you’ll be able to start by finding an NPC in Crystal Peak.
You can use the Jade Orb at the top of Crystal Peak to summon the legendary Pokemon Rayquaza.
Location
Enter Crystal Peak and follow the path forward before going down using the ladder in the room.
Use Surf to follow the path forward and go north toward the interactable crystals.
Here, you want to disable all three crystals to open the north path.
You’ll see crossroads going right and left. Take the path right.
Approach the NPC at the end of the path with the side mission icon on his head.
This NPC gives you the Blazing Emeralds side mission.
And completing this mission rewards you with the Jade Orb.
Function
The Jade Orb only serves one purpose in Pokemon Unbound – to summon Rayquaza.
You can go to the very top of Crystal Peak and approach the northern-most part to summon the legendary Pokemon.
