The Oval Charm is a key item that increases your chances of finding eggs from the Pokemon Day Care.
Like the other charms in the game, you don’t need to have any Pokemon hold the item, so it just needs to sit in your cube.
Location
Fly to the Crater Town Pokemon Center and go north.
Continue north as you enter Route 6 and leave the town.
You’ll eventually reach the day care area.
Approach the NPC west of the day care’s entrance with the side mission icon on her head.
This NPC gives you the Extreme Hyperosmia side mission and completing the mission gives you the Oval Charm.
Function
Adding the Oval Charm to your cube increases your chances of coming across eggs after putting two compatible eggs at the Pokemon Day Care. The overall method of acquiring eggs is the same, which happens when speaking with the old man outside the day care.
