The Town Map is a mandatory Key Item you get at the start of the game. It works identically to any other Pokémon game, as you can open it from your Cube to see a map of the entire Borrius region.
Location
Enter Professor Log’s Research Lab after recovering his parcel from the Team Shadow Grunt.
Speak with Professor Log to get multiple items, including the Town Map.
Function
Like other Pokemon games, opening the Town Map from the Cube shows you a map of the Borrius region.
In addition to your character’s current location, the map also shows where every roaming legendary Pokémon is.
