Mission #025: Gimme a V | |
---|---|
Start Location | Seaport City, Battleground – Picknicker on west side of the room |
Unlock Requirements |
|
Objectives | Defeat the Classic Leaders Gauntlet in the Battleground |
Reward | Pokémon: Victini |
In Seaport City, after becoming Pokémon Champion, you’ll be allowed access to the Battleground. A Picnicker inside wants to give her Victini to a worthy trainer, but the only way to prove it to her is to defeat all 8 Borrius Gym Leaders in a Battleground Gauntlet.
Starting the Mission

The Battleground is located in a house in the southwest part of Seaport City, next to the Fisherman’s house and just south of the Camomons Battle House.
Once you’ve become Pokémon Champion, the Battleground is open to you, and you’ll see the Gym Guide as soon as you enter.
Every day there are challenges on offer from Gym Leaders you’ve previously beaten, and you can speak to the Guide for more information on how it works.

Speak to the Picknicker in the lower-left corner and you’ll notice she has a Victini with her. The Victini only likes trainers with a lot of victories under their belt, and she says the best way to impress it is to beat the Classic Leaders Gauntlet here in the Battleground.
How to Complete
The Classic Leaders Gauntlet is an eight-stage gauntlet where you must beat each of the Borrius Gym Leaders one by one. Each has their usual Gym Battle gimmicks, such as Mirskle’s Fog, Vega’s Negative Energy and Benjamin Butterfree’s de-evolution mechanic.

After beating each one, you’ll get a moment to heal your Pokémon using items as well as switch out any Pokémon with the Porygon in the room.
