Mission #032: Hunter of the Swamp | |
---|---|
Start Location | Cootes Bog, Polder Town entrance – Scientist |
Unlock Requirements |
|
Objectives | Capture all varieties of Pokémon – long grass, surfable and fishable – in Cootes Bog |
Reward | Item: 15 Timer Balls, DexNav Held Item Upgrade |
A Scientist at the Polder Town entrance to Cootes Bog wants you to capture all types of Pokémon that are present in Cootes Bog. If you do it, she’ll give you 15 Timer Balls and upgrade your DexNav to display held items of Pokemon.
Starting the Mission
Head north out of Polder Town and you’ll see a Scientist with a mission for you, just to the east of the route sign.

She wants you to catch all of the Pokémon that are available to be caught in Cootes Bog, and suggests you use the DexNav to assist you.
How to Complete
The DexNav is very helpful – it lists all the Pokémon in the water and on land in the route, and tells you the method with which they can be acquired.

All three methods must be used – walking in long grass, fishing with the different Rods, and using Surf.
If the Pokémon can be caught in other routes and you’ve already done so, there’s no need to double up.
Here’s a list of all Pokémon in the area:
