Frozen Heights, Professor Log’s Lab – Professor Log
Unlock Requirements
Become Pokémon Champion
Objectives
Capture all 25 Portal Pokémon
Reward
Item: Master Ball, and remaining two not obtained stones: Garchompite, Metagrossite, Tyranitarite
When you defeat the Pokémon League for the first time, you’ll be sent back to Frozen Heights.
Once there, Professor Log will give you a mission to track down 25 portals across Borrius and to capture the Pokémon coming out of them. Do it, and he’ll give you a Master Ball and the two Mega Stones for the Borrius starters you didn’t pick.
Starting the Mission
Defeat the Elite Four and Jax
All you need to do to obtain this mission is to complete the Pokémon League arc of the story and become Champion.
When you do, you’ll be sent back to Frozen Heights to take a rest.
Track down and capture the Portal Pokémon
Once there, you’ll speak to a few people, including Professor Log, who tells you that Hoopa’s portals have caused problems and you’ll need to track down 25 of them. You’ll also need to capture the Pokémon within.
How to Complete
Portals are all over Borrius, even underwater
Some Portals only appear at daytime or nighttime respectively, so it’s a good idea to have the Time Turner received as a reward from Mission #065: The Daily Grind.
In addition, these Pokémon will be difficult to catch with regular Poke Balls – Beast Balls are your best bet.
