After encountering an out-of-control Electivire in Thundercap Mountain, its trainer enlists your help to calm it down. However, after it’s kidnapped by the Science Society, you’ll have to track it down to Seaport City.
Your reward is an Elekid Egg, an Electirizer, a Power Weight, and a Gold Bottle Cap.
Starting the Mission
Head to Thundercap Mountain, east of Epidimy Town.
Go through the 1F cavern and climb the ladder up to 2F.
Once you get to that level, head to a ladder in the middle of the cavern that leads up to a section of 3F that isn’t the water-filled cave (pictured below).
You’ll end up in the Tablet Chamber. Head to the east side of that and you’ll see the way up to the 4F Electivire Chamber from there (pictured above).
Once on that floor, go over to the northeast section of the cavern.
You’ll see that a trainer’s Electivire is out of control and needs to be wrangled.
How to Complete
When you approach, the Electivire runs away, and you’ll have to chase it.
Break the rock to the south, then head down that passage.
Eventually, after breaking another rock, you’ll come face to face with the unruly Electivire.

After you defeat it, it goes back to its Poke Ball.
Wanting to thank you, the trainer says he will meet you at the Epidimy Pokémon Center to give you your reward.
Unfortunately, by the time you get there, the Electivire has been stolen by a Scientist and the trainer can’t give you a reward just yet.
You’ll have to find the thief in Seaport City.
Finding the Thief
The East Warehouse on the dock area of the city is where the Electivire thief is located – head there and be prepared for a fight.
You’ll need a password to get in. It’s scrawled on the back of some crates here.
Enter the password – 5711 – and the door will open.
Make your way downstairs to the storage floor, where the Scientist and the Electivire await.
Walk south until you see a turning to the west – this is the way you need to go.
You’ll see a ladder on the side of a container here. Take that ladder and it will lead you straight to the Scientist and her mad experiments.
Rescuing the Electivire
The Scientist is apparently pleased you found her, and sets the Electivire on you.

Once you beat it, it’s not over – she’s figured out a way to Dynamax it, and you’ll have to fight a Max Battle with the Electivire.
It’ll be a Double Battle, and the three-part shield it throws up at different points is a little frustrating.
If you manage to beat it, the Scientist will square up to you herself and battle you with her team of Pokémon. Compared to the Dynamax Electivire though, she’s a bit of a pushover.
With its captor finally defeated for good, the Electivire wants to return to its Trainer in Epidimy Town.
Make space in your party when you get there – the Electivire’s happy owner will give you a Pokémon Egg containing an Elekid. You’ll also get an Electirizer, a Power Weight, and a Gold Bottle Cap.
