Have a Pichu in your party Be in the post-game

With a Pichu in your party, fly to the Seaport City Pokemon Center and go south.

Take the first turn east.

Enter the house just before the market.

Approach the NPC directly to the left of the building’s entrance.

The NPC will ask to see a Pichu. Select the one you have in your party and you’ll get a special spiky-eared Pichu.

With the spiky-eared Pichu in your party, fly to Redwood Village.

Then approach the old man standing northeast of the Pokemart.

Celebi will sense the spiky-eared Pichu and appear next to the old man to challenge you to a battle.
