Prerequisites
Be in the post-game Start the “Portal Purge” side mission

Fly to the Ruins of Void and use Rock Climb to climb up the mark west of the ruins’ entrance.

Go inside the ruins from this floor.

Continue north to enter the next room.

Climb the ladder to the upper floor.

Now follow the linear path west to exit the ruins.

There’s only one path forward which leads to another entrance to the ruins.

Interact with the purple portal in this room and enter your hand when prompted.

This will cause Entei to escape from the portal, and it will now be roaming around the map.

You can track Entei from the map and encounter it like any other wild Pokemon.
