  • Defeat the Elite Four and become Champion

Fly to the Route 18 Victory Road Pokemon Center. Then use Surf to go south.

Descend from the waterfall and continue south.

Swim past some rocks to your west, then turn left and follow that path west, surfing past the rocks.

Continue west and you’ll see the entrance to the Island Cave that you want to enter.

Inside is a crystal puzzle.

Interacting with a crystal causes it to change colors, and the goal is to make every crystal red.

Follow the steps below after entering the cave to solve the puzzle. If you make a mistake along the way, exit and re-enter the cave to reset the puzzle and start from the first step.

  1. Interact with the center rock three times so it’s purple
  2. Interact with the west rock one time so it’s purple
  3. Interact with the northwest rock two times so it’s purple
  4. Interact with the southeast rock one time so it’s purple
  5. Interact with the southwest rock two times so it’s blue
  6. Interact with the center rock two times so it’s purple
  7. Interact with the southeast rock two times so it’s blue
  8. Interact with the center rock three times so every rock turns red
