Prerequisites

  • Have a fire-type Pokémon in your party
  • Have Surf
  • Have access to Cinder Volcano

Location

Fly to Cinder Volcano and enter it from that main entrance. Then follow the path going North.

Ignore the ladder in front of you and go down the stairs to your East.

You’ll see another set of stairs to your South that you also want to go down.

The TM for Flamethrower will be to your West here.

You can interact with the lava when you have Surf and a fire-type Pokémon in your party to Surf on the lava and reach the TM.
