Just across from Antisis City is the eastern side of Thundercap Mountain.
Now that you have Rock Climb, it’s time to head back in the mountain maze.

There are two trainers ready to challenge you outside – once they’re taken care of, you’re free to head into the entrance.
Return to Thundercap Mountain – 2F

You emerge in 2F, on the eastern side that was previously inaccessible.
Now that you have Rock Climb, there are a few items in other areas already explored that can be picked up.

However, there’s one entirely new area, spanning two floors, that is now open to you – the Northwest Chamber.
To get there, head west from the Antisis entrance to the northwest part of 2F. You’ll see a rock wall – climb it.

This section has a lot of back-and-forth between two levels.
Head north from where you climbed and you’ll see a series of bridges.

Waiting on the other side of one of them is Worker Lawton.
Once you beat him, go north across the bridge, down the stairs to the west, and then down to where you have the choice of two cliffs to jump over.

Choose the east cliff and jump towards the east to proceed.

This leads to a small stairway, another bridge, some more one-way cliff jumps to the north, and a ladder to the east.
Take the ladder first.
Exploring 3F

You will arrive in another part of 3F, with a large lake in it.
Surf south and you’ll find an island with an old man on it.

This man will give you a random Evolution Stone every day, so it’s useful to come back to him every so often if you’ve run out of a Stone type you need.
Once you’re finished in this part of the chamber, go back to the ladder and climb down to 2F.
Back to 2F

This time, go north to the two jump cliffs and take the west cliff. Follow the path northwest until you see another ladder.

This time, you’re on the northern side of the 3F chamber.
You’ll need to push boulders out of the way to get to the next ladder, and there are two trainers for you to fight as well.

Once you get to the next ladder, it’s just a short walk across yet another bridge to find another ladder.
Take that to head up it.

You’ll end up in the northeast corner on 3F, and find yourself with another boulder puzzle.
3F Boulder Puzzle

This one is simple enough, but requires some smashed rocks.
Step 1: From the starting position, push the top boulder to the left.
Step 2: Then, push the left-most boulder down south 1 tile, revealing a smashable rock on your right.

Step 3: Turn to the east and smash the rock.

Step 4: Go to the boulder north of where the smashed rock was and push that boulder south.

Step 5: Push the same boulder east onto the button.

This accomplishes two things:
- Clears a path to the final ladder
- And solves the Tablet puzzle in the Tablet Chamber

With all of that done, go down the ladder.
The Final Ladder

Expert Saundra is the final trainer in this section, and she guards the Flash Cannon TM.

Now that all trainers in Thundercap Mountain have been defeated, it’s time for one final challenge to finish off this bunch of caves for good.
Take the series of one-way cliffs back to the main section of 2F, and go to the center of the cavern.
Mountain Master Challenge

You’ll see the Mountain Master up on a cliff by himself.
He’s only available to battle if you’ve defeated every other trainer in Thundercap Mountain.
Considering there’s a lot of them, you may have missed one or two – check the Trainer Catalog you got from Fallshore City if you’re stuck.

If you manage to beat him, the Ampharosite mega stone is your prize.
Now it’s time to check out what solving the Tablet puzzle accomplished – go to the Tablet Cavern on 3F.
The Tablet Puzzle

The Tablet is gone, and a cave entrance is in its place.

Inside is a Raid Den and a Z-Crystal, Pikanium Z – useful if you’ve got a Pikachu.
There is one final place you need to go now that you’ve got Rock Climb, and that’s Seaport City to continue your journey.
The Next Destination
Head to Route 17 where you were given the Rock Climb HM in the first place.

Now you can proceed through the route and continue on to stop the Light of Ruin – and hopefully become Pokémon Champion.
